Arias Rego Contemporary has established itself as a pivotal space for the boldest and most disruptive emerging art in today’s scene. We collaborate with artists who push boundaries and experiment with a wide range of mediums, from painting and sculpture to urban art and installations. Our focus is to amplify the voices of creators who are revolutionizing both the national and international art landscape, offering new perspectives and visual languages that challenge traditional notions of contemporary art.
Our mission is to view art as a catalyst for dialogue and reflection. The artists we represent craft experiences that invite viewers to dive into an exploration of the new, the irreverent, and the profoundly human. By showcasing some of the most promising talents in the current scene, we aim to build bridges between these avant-garde creators and collectors, both established and emerging.
SOFÍA ARIAS REGO
MADRID 1988
After completing her studies at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid, Sofía moved to New York City, where she graduated with honours in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy. She worked in New York and Cambridge at Harvard University before returning to Spain, where she settled in Madrid, to fully dedicate herself to her lifelong passion for art.
A devoted collector since a young age Sofía founded Arias Rego Contemporary in 2022 with the mission of connecting emerging contemporary art with both new and seasoned collectors. Her work reflects a unique fusion of cinema and visual art, engaging dynamically with the contemporary cultural landscape.
