Leticia Martínez Pérez lives and works between her hometown (Zaragoza), Marseille, and Paris.
She studied at ESAM Caen/Cherbourg, where she obtained her Master’s degree (DNSEP – National Diploma in Advanced Artistic Expression) in 2017. She also holds a degree in Art History from the University of Zaragoza and studied Fine Arts and Design at the School of Arts in the same city, where she received the Extraordinary Prize in Fine Arts and Design in 2011.
The artist has developed her career at a European level, exhibiting in art centers and cultural institutions such as the Collection Lambert in Avignon, the Fondation Fiminco and the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, the Artothèque de Caen and the SHED in Normandy, La Vallée in Brussels, and Spatiu Intact in Cluj-Napoca.
She has also taken part in multiple artist residencies. She was an artist member of the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid during the 2019–2020 cohort. Following this experience, she completed a residency at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris. She is currently developing a research and creative project at AACC Pablo Serrano in Zaragoza.
